The following videos had been taped when Mama Hagosa Woldegiorgis celebrated her Centennial Birthday in 2013 in Mekele, Tigray, Ethiopia. The event was a joyous one, especially for those of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren living in Ethiopia who were blessed to be part of the celebration, as well as for those relatives and friends in Mekelle who were invited to share the family's joy. These videos are posted here as a living tribute to Mama Hagosa and as a living testimonial of how much the Irob community in Mekele did have a great respect and esteem for her -- as many of them from the clergy, women religious, and laity have joined her to celebrate her Centennial Birthday with her!
All her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren at home and abroad felt a great joy and pride to see their mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to live this long to be able to celebrate her 100th-birthday and enjoy to see all of her generations physically at home and virtually from remote Diaspora! These video clips will serve as a perennial reminder to them, as long as they live, of their deepest love, affection, and esteem that they always continue to hold for her as she had for them during her life-time!
