Abba Abraha Baraki's Golden Jubilee

Abba Abraha Baraki colorfully celebrated his 50th Anniversary of Priestly Ordination on May 5, 2018, at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church in Washington, DC, USA, where numbers of American, Ethiopian, and Eritrean friends and members of his family residing in the United States joined him in the celebration that started with a thanksgiving Divine Liturgy in the Ge'ez rite. The Thanksgiving Holy Mass was concelebrated by numbers of Ethiopian priests and the Reverend Peter Daly (homilist) and two bishops: His Excellency Abune Lisane-Christos Matheos, Bishop of Bahir-Dar, Ethiopia, and His Excellency Most Reverend Roy Edward Campbell, Auxiliary Bishop of Archdiocese of Washington, DC.
