Mama Hagosa Woldegiorgis was blessed to live such a long golden age and be able to celebrate her 104th Birthday and cut her last-time Birthday Cake with her close friends, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who always surrounded her with affections and great respect during her staying with them in Mekelle, Ethiopia. She was truly a gentle grandmother-figure who will be terribly missed by all of them. As a Matriarch of the Baraki Family, she was an umbrella for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who direly needed motherly affection and caring-figure. Without any failures or reservations, Mama Hagosa did nurture all her own offspring and generations with those vital parental attention and affection to make them feel loved and materially and psychologically, as well as socially, always secure at home with her motherly presence, availability and accessibility!

Mama Hagosa as she was a true blessing to all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, especially during those 18 years of stay in Mekelle, she too felt greatly blessed to have many of them around her... Especially, she was greatly blessed to have her granddaughter, Abrehet Hailu Baraki, who had been extraordinarily devoted to her by taking care of her during her fast-aging stages of her life, when she was almost unable to take care of herself as she would like to and used to, when she was younger, energetic and healthy! And Abrehet proved that she was truly and uniquely gifted granddaughter who loved her grandmother demonstrating her unique quality of how to take care of her, especially during those final years when her memory started to decline fast and her whole body started to debilitate faster than ever!
Abrehet was a true superhero who did not hesitate quitting her paying-job to fully dedicate herself and her time to look after her aging-and-aching-grandmother with great love and affection all this on the top of all other family responsibilities and obligations of her own and of other children of her siblings under her care! No way that Mama Hagosa could have survived this long without the the tremendous sacrifices and devotions of Abrehet to her grandma, whom she dearly loved and respected with her whole heart and strength till the day her beloved grandmother, Hagosa, passed away on February 22, 2017, just after 10-days of celebrating her 104th-Birthday.
Thanks to Abrehet 's unselfish and altruistic personality, Mama Hagosa lived till her last day on this earth well taken care of, feeling fully loved and respected, as she truly deserved for all she unreservedly gave to and sacrificed for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will never ever forget her and will terribly miss her gracious presence. Abreht's contribution in taking care her old grandmother with great diligence and devotion will never be forgotten by the rest of Mama Hagosa's Family at home and abroad...! Thank you, Abrehet, and may God reward you for all your dedicated sacrifices and devotion to our Matriarch, Mama Hagosa!

Mama Hagosa, was not just loved only by those of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who lived with her back in Ethiopia, but also by those of her third-generations in Diaspora: These two video clips prove that...how much she was loved and esteemed by those, who even had never been able to meet her face-to-face, for they were born abroad away from their parents native lands. They are seen here in the video clips sharing their joy by singing in her honor and love a "happy birthday to you, grandmother!" in a very enthusiastic and in non-artificial or non-superficial manner but naturally expressing their joy on the occasion of her 104th-Birthday in Washington, DC, USA. At this small joyful birthday event, it shows that one of her sons, five of her grandchildren, five of her great-grandchildren, and two spouses or granddaughters-in-law were gathered to express their wishes and love to Mama Hagosa!
