Mama Hagosa Woldegiorgis Died On February 22, 2017

The following photo shows that, after Mama Hagosa Woldegiorgis passing away on Febraury 22, 2017, in Mekele (Tigray), Ethiopia, her body was put in a casket to leave for burial in her native place at Alitiena, Irob Woreda, at the Cemetery of Lideta-Mariam Catholic Church about 3-4 hours of driving.

On the following photo of February 24th, it is seen Mama Hagosa's body leaving her house in Mekele for Alitiena, very early in the morning, while the Irob Community of Mekele pays their final respect and farewell to their most respected and loved elderly woman of their community in accordance with their tradition and culture.

The following video shows the very colorful religious funeral ceremony of Mama Hagosa on Febraury 24, 2017, at the historical Alitena Village Town where she was born and baptized and where her life-time beloved husband, Baraki Woldegiorgis, had been buried in October of 1978.
